We had the privilege of handling the branding design for the
Hokkaido-exclusive chocolate sandwich brand, 〈aoka〉,
created by ALGONA Co., Ltd.
This brand is the sister brand of the Tokyo-originated chocolate
specialty store, 〈D’RENTY CHOCOLATE〉.

The name "Aoka" comes from the Ainu language,
meaning "we" or "you." It carries the sentiment of treasuring the
connection with someone special, envisioning it as a beautiful
"A blue scene" shining brightly over the northern land.

The packaging, adorned with the expansive blue skies of Hokkaido, is
designed with a sleek and simple sophistication,
perfectly suited for special gifts.

In addition to its signature caramel chocolate sandwich,
the lineup also features raisin butter sandwiches
and langue de chat cookies.
