NAORAI was born as a gift brand
that connects people through the bounty of Okuizumo's rich nature.

In the Okuizumo region 560 years ago,
the Tanabe family, whose occupation was the Tatara ironmaking,
which was the cornerstone of Japan's ironmaking industry,
developed their own agriculture and livestock industries
through the ironmaking industry, including the cultivation of terraced rice paddies
and the breeding of cattle for agriculture.

NAORAI delivers rare ingredients that can only be tasted in Okuizumo,
such as Nita rice and Okuizumo Wagyu,
which are nurtured by the history of the Tanabe family and the nature of Okuizumo.

The logo is designed with the motif of "Shinsen," the origin of NAORAI.

The package expresses the culture and nature of Okuizumo
using the concept of "Kasaneirome,"
which is said to have been used by nobles in the Heian period
to express the seasons with kimono.

On the last night when the god leaves Izumo,
people eat shinsen (food and drink) offered to the god.
In the Izumo region, drinking parties after various events and yoriai
have also been called "naorai."
